This knife has been very popular as a camper and a few have gone to Iraq with the troops. 3/16 ATS34 steel has been heat treated to 58 - 60 Rc with a cryogenic quench. I sand blast the entire knife to give it a dull finish and a good grip and than follow up with a bead blast to the blade to soften the texture of the steel. This is a hefty knife that balances nicely right at the guard. Overall length is 10 7/8 inches with a 6 inch blade. Hand sewn leather case included.

Gerry is not exaggerating the heft of this knife. It is a handful. I have one and it it a real nice knife. Everyone who has picked it up has liked it.
