nice knife ray how did you pin the handle thanks don b.

Don, the thong tube goes through the tang. The tang and scales have holes that line up with each other. The epoxy fills up the holes and gives the tang and handle a real solid bond. This construction, along with the full flat grind makes for a very lightweight knife. In my opinion, this is better than a full tang knife. I only make full tang knives because they're easier to do and I think most people prefer them over stick tangs anyway..

Very nice knife Ray... Thanks again for my latest beauty..! It's perfect..!!!

I looked at this one today. The micarta is interesting - brown with a hint of red.

Many don't appreciate frame handled knives. They are lighter than full tang, and take a lot more work to make. Ray does the tang right, they work well.
