Camp knives carry

Beautiful camping set. ๐Ÿ‘

Can you tell me a bit about the top/left knife? I know that I've seen that model before but can't recall where. I LOVE that design.
No problem. It is a Andrew jordan opo. This one is somewhat uniquer because of the desert ironwood handles. Most of them are with micarta. It is made from Templar steel and coated.

My Gerber Pro-Guide II Drop Point Hunter has been my main outdoors knife for a lot of years. Brad Parrish Designs from way back when, made in USA. Nothing fancy, but I keep saying that one of these days, I'm going to have custom wood scales made for my Pro-Guide IIs. You used to be able to buy these so cheap on eBay, but nowadays, they are rare and people pay silly amounts of money for them.

These are from when Gerber knew how to make a blade and collaborated with knife makers.......All downhill afterwards๐Ÿ˜ฅ

Yeah, those are absolute beauties. One question though, checked his site/google and did not find an answer, what's Templar steel?

Not sure. Been a while since I've been on it but probably his proprietary Damascus he forges for his blades........I wouldn't coat it though......Pretty stuff, I think .........Anywho I'm probably wrong........... You can bet that its a solid performer otherwise he wouldn't bother with it...๐Ÿ˜‰
