Hello folks , This blade has a hand sanded finish to a 600 grit then hand polished with Flitz metal polish .
Steel is 5/32 " A-2 Tool Steel , heat treated to an Rc 60-61
Grind is a stepped flat transitioned to a convex .
O.A.L is 12-1/2"
Blade is 7-1/4" tip to handle , it is 1-3/4" wide edge to spine
Sharpened edge is at 6-3/4" and it is hair topping sharp . I leather strop and then paper strop all my edges , they become scary
Handle is Green Linen Micarta ( I could not capture the green in the pics ) , black liners and 3/16" Corby bolts with epoxy to affix the handle . Bolts used so the shock of chopping will not break loose the handle scales . Also a 1/4 304 SS Lanyard tube .
The lanyard bead is just a cheap bead from Joannes arts and craft store , I thought it look cool .
Sheath to be made upon sale , left or right hand carry , 8 oz leather
