Here is another hatchet..Its forged from a bar of mild steel with a 1075 high carbon steel cutting bit welded in.Forged just like the one in this thread.http://www.bladeforums.com/forums/s...d-Belt-Axe-hatchet-with-some-forging-pictures..
The cutting edge is 3" wide and it has a forge finish. It comes with a simple edge cover..The haft is a straight grain lightly darkened, sealed with boiled linseed oil and finished with wax. I dont always mention it but i do warrenty against defects..if the head ever "breaks" Ill make it right..If a rivet ever pops loose in the edge cover Ill make that right too.Ill also regrind,sharpen for free you just pay the shipping.Thanks

How many coats of linseed oil did you apply?
