What are you guys using for backpacking towels, if any? I picked up this little Sea-to-Summit towel and like it's size, compactness, and quick drying characteristics. Here it is in it's neoprene pouch:

It's 16 X 32 inches and weights 1.5 ounces and feels silky but does absorb well. Also drys well. here it is with my XL goves for size reference:

Again, cheap, good, light piece of kit for keeping things clean, including me. I don't regret the purchase decision at all.

Hey, you sass that hoopy brians? There's a frood who really knows where his towel is.

I just found at not too logn ago about these little towels...Walmart now carries them! $1 for this 8 pack! All you do is add a bit of water and they puff out and you unroll them...they are tough too, reusabkle a few times before you have to scrap them...Tye tiny size is perfect for a bag where room is valuable...plus you cna use these as bandages too!

I carry a microfiber car drying towel I found in the auto section of a discount store. It is light and absorbs a lot of water and can be wrung out easily. Dries fast and was the right price.
