Campbellclanmans give-away ( about time ) WINNERS ANNOUNCED.

Not an entry, Duncan, but a thank you for your contributions to the forum.

Duncan,

Thanks for the opportunity. I've had my eyes on Lloyd's knives for a while, but as always, an empty wallet is my worst enemy.

The photos Dont have to be original by any means...by this they must be by you, but you sure can use old ones if you wish!
Good luck everyone, and thanks for the kind messages.

Duncan,
thank you so much for your generosity, and for your contribution to this forum. Fortunately, I brought my camera when I left home for the holidays, so I will try to do my best for the fun of this thread and the success of Charlie's book :p
By now, I can only thank you :)

Not an entry--but very generous, and kind of you. This forum is really showing its colors lately as a great group of folks.

Would Charlie ever carry an Ulster scout knife?

Thanks Duncan. For all you bring to our little community.

I thought of this just as I signed off for the the night last night.
Many of you might appreciate the difficulty of photographing your children and actually getting a decent photo.
For me it is like being the first to photograph an Albino Snow Leopard...being born ...in the wild...on the surface of the Sun. Not easy.
However as luck would have it #1 son came round today for lunch and a bit of archery.#2 son arrived home safely from the Australian Scout jamboree after 2 weeks away.#3son just likes to argue.
I suggested they each choose a knife out of my boxes for a photo that i need to take. It was one of those rare moments when we were all together focused on something.A good half hour was spent getting the hero shot. Alas how quick that half hour went before the surface of the sun grew too hot and the "are we there yet?" question arose.
Even if I don't win one of Duncans beautiful knives I have a little bit of time with my sons all together that I think is priceless and hopefully they will come to treasure and it was fun.
Note the 20 YO took the Kershaw ,the others both took a knife suited to the size of their hands. Even though the youngest isn't in the bottom pic it is my personal fave- I think its the guiding hand thing.
cheers

Campbell, thank you so much for your generosity and such an interesting giveaway thread.

Awesome Giveaway Duncan!!!
That Ivory Lloyd has always had a special place in my heart, it's one of the knives that made me contact Mr. Lloyd about building my own knife.
How can I resist an opportunity to win it?

I thinks that pic would be fitting for a barlow book.
