Nice GAW! I enjoyed the photos and a big congrats to the winners!
Very selfless of you to offer such nice prizes, Duncan. I can't believe you found it!!

The scout arrived today, along with another goody!

My daughter was with me when I opened the package, and she wanted to hold the knife, so, of course, I obliged. Here she is admiring it:

And here she is cheesing for the camera:

Here's the letter Duncan included, along with a lovely aromatic soap!

This is one NICE knife Campbellclanman Campbellclanman . Thank you so much Duncan!

The power went out three times  The last time it stayed off... I open the front door to have a look around and a package...NZ  This is fun. A package from Duncan arrives and a Rod Serling moment

The cat (Boots) bolts out the open door, realizes...it way to cold and wet and bolts back in and tears around the house. I look around and no one. I retrieve the wet package and close the door. Its dark ...oh yea..I flick on my flashlight. This is fun..

So the Boots and I proceed to open the package in the spotlight of the torch. Her on the table now watching intently my every move...

A Wonderfully hand penned note...

Duncan, matey, wow...wow !! A stag Klaas...vintage..pristine...sharp as a razor...stunning...exquisite shining in the spotlight , in the darken room !!! Another small present wrapped in a bow.

The lights burst on...

Yay - two down - one to go- where’s that TC? Hopefully soon.
Thanks to Joshua - I think that Stag Scout is one Honey of a Knife my friend.

Thanks to You Gev my friend I love that Klass- when they were true Quality - and of ever used? Beautiful Swedge work on each blade- all blades marked so nicely as well walk and talk that would put Raquel Welsh to shame - well almost - let’s not be silly :D

Thanks to all

No worries, Duncan... the TC arrived safe and sound! :D It actually got here yesterday (did all three prizes arrive at their destinations on the same day?!), I just didn't have time to snap a photo until this morning.

Duncan, I can't thank you enough for this. There are some generous folks here on the Porch, but you might be the only one generous enough to give away your long-lost-then-found 2012 PPP TC Barlow! (Please know that this is still your knife, my friend. I'll gladly take care of it, keep the edge sharp and joints oiled, carry it and use it, but if you ever decide that you miss it and would like to be reunited, just let me know and I'll send it on back home. ;))

Thank you, too, for the cool magnet and notebook!

I touched up the edge this morning, then this beauty went straight into my pocket.

Oh man!
My friend- that’s YOUR knife - it’s like a good friend- there’s room left in the heart to love another lol.

I’m so glad it arrived safe n sound.
I would like to bet that that knife is the most traveled TC in existence- from USA to NZ- from NZ to England- ( this TC met Jack Black as well by the way), from England to Scotland, from Scotland to New Zealand, rest time in a Jacket pocket for a good two and a half years, then from New Zealand to USA again.

The edge definitely needed touching up, it’s a nice way to start with putting your touch in a knife isn’t it!
:D
