Finished this one up about a week ago. My father is writing an article for a magazine called "Extreme How-to" (I think that's what it's called) and they had requests for how to make a knife, so I put this one together for him to take photos and explain how to create a blade with very rudimentary tools (files, hacksaw, etc.). While I did start the bevels with files to show how it could be done, I finished it up with the grinder.
The wood is some home-grown crotch walnut that has been drying at my fathers for quite some time and stabilized by me. The blade is flat-ground with about a 2 3/4-inch cutting edge and is about 7 1/2-inches overall. Comes with a brown leather pouch sheath.
