I tried to make an all around camp knife forged thin enough on the edge for slicing but keeping the spine heavy enough for some firewood baton work.

Forged from 1/4 inch 5160
Flat grind
Hand sanded to 400 grit
Forge marks along the spine
Tapered tang
Figured ash handle professionally stabilized
Overall length: 12 3/4 inches
Blade: 8 inches
Riveted leather scabbard

I got the camper yesterday Gerry,what a great knife.
I took it out to the yard at work & tested it out chopping & batoning some 2x4s & 4x4s.
Flawless performer,thank you.
