This one has also taken a back burner for a while. It is 8670 steel (admirals version of L6) The blade does have a hamon, and it was clay coated, but I still havent figured out how to take a decent picture of a hamon.

It has a file pattern down the length of the spine.

The handle is natural canvas micarta.

The pictures in hand should give dimensions.

Price - sale pending. Paypal preferred.

It does not have a sheath made. If the buyer wants one, it will be an extra $10 for a kydex, and $15 for leather.

Another big burly stout knife from your workshop, very nice :)

Looks like you changed your handle shaping a little bit? Looks good.

That's a nice one! I like the blade profile on this one. That handle shape really looks nice as well.

Wow--I want one of those. Will you be making more like that one? It looks like the perfect camp knife.

whkento, I will eventually make more. My knife production has dropped a bit since I have started a new job. Things are beginning to run a little more smoothly, so I may be able to spend more time in the shop, however, my wife is due in the next couple of weeks, so that might effect knife time also.

Thanks for the comments.

Try lowering your flash or bouncing your flash off the wall or cieling. It looks as though the light from the flash is drowning out the view of the hammon. Or you could put you camera on a tripod and set the knife in a fixed location with some good light (watch for reflection), turn off the flash and try taking a picture that way.
Experimentation helps sometimes. I don't have any knives worth taking a picture of at the time or else I would be taking pictures (love DSLR's).

Wow, if those things keep selling out in 25 minutes I'm going to have to start spending all of my time on this board. As always, great design Matt. And congrats on the new family member.:)

I think you could change the word "might" to "will". Congrats on the coming addition, and that is a really great looking knife. I have a 4 week old son in addition to his two year old brother and time is always at a premium.

flychucker, you are right. My time will definately be reduced. Its ok though, I will make it work.
