Camping/Canoeing folder

Since I love canoes, and spend a lot of time in them from spring through late fall, I know I'd take what I always take. A sheath knife on my belt. Either my well used Buck 102 woodsman, or my Frosts mora number 1 with the laminated carbon blade. I made a leather sheath for the mora using the plastic sheath it came with as a liner, so if it got wet, the blade was not in contact with the leather. The Buck of course is stainless, so I'm not worried about the damp.

Any small puuko would be a good choice.

Ok, here you get my two cents too...
I'd go for a stainless fixed blade as well.
Then, for food prep and "clean" tasks lke that, I'd bring a traditional of choice :)

A Buck Bantam would make a good choice. Lanyard hole, tough handles, light in weight, thumbstud and lockback. Inexpensive and a good bridge between Traditional and Contemporary knife.
