Camping. Knife vs kukri

The guy opened the thread ten months ago, about a camping trip he was taking this past summer. I'm going to guess it got sorted out.

Unless of course you just wanted to open it to discuss appropriate knives for camping generally, in which case, it might pay to open a new thread for that purpose.

I noticed that too ... and wondered if he took the camp knife and was having a great time fishing ... preparing food ... right up until he went for a hike and got lost in a thicket and never made it back from the trip ... and now is cutting little bits of thorns away cussing saying ... next time I'll bring the kukuri too ...

Just wanted to comment . It might be helpful to someone somewhere . I often read post old and new for inspiration or answers .
