It's lake Santeetlah, but don't go stealing my spot now.
no worries, i work too damn much.... i forgot all about that lake to be honest. its a gem nestled in the middle of mtn country for sure.. thanks for sharing lol...in all likely hood i would only be able to go to that lake once a year...
It's a gorgeous private lake. Very private and unpopulated which is a rarity around here. All the amazing and very private places that I went to when I was a kid are now extremely overpopulated now. Which means trash and people everywhere ruining these great places. It's really sad that we want to share these places with people, but people seem to ruin everything that was once great. There is another amazing lake bordering NC and SC which is private, but camping is only allowed in certain areas. You may have heard of it, Lake Jocassee? It's an amazing lake and if you ever get the chance I highly recommend checking it out.
heard of it but never been
how is the parking over that lake in robinsville? thefts? i know lots of places in rural mtn country that have issues with the hillbilly herion addicts breaking into vehicles. (i fly fish a bit when i can so i make trips up to the hills when i can just not that far west).. where is that spot you like? you odnt have to tell me. i am sure i could figure it out. (keep in mind, like you, i like to keep things hush hush) fortunelty not too many folks here from NC LOL..
yes humans know how to fuck a perfectly good thing up. do you do any fishing while there?
I'm sure you can figure it outI have never had a problem with theft out that way. Far enough away from the hillbillies I guess plus I have an alarm on my car. I love to fish! I am saving for a fly rod and reel even though my wife says I have enough "junk" I can't wait to get one though. There are a ton of amazing trout rivers in this area.
Let me know when you plan on coming out this way, maybe we could do some fishing or something and I can tell you where my spot is in a PM of course![]()
That would be a little strange my friend . . . a little strange indeed.
Nice, But you need to get the two person hammocks, since it was anniversary.![]()
