I feel for you guys sweltering back east.I was stationed in Jacksonville & lived through the heat & humidity for 12 years.Can't say that I miss it,but did love NC.
And if it makes you feel any better it did get into the 80s saturday & will again today.

Great pic's and adventure. As far as slingshots go (my latest material passion)there is a big world of them out there beyond the Crossman and Daisies from Walmart. If you go to the slingshot forum and do some research you may get bitten by the bug! Great pics. It would be hard to beat a weekend like that in the great Northwest. I drove through there this weekend and dreamed of stopping and enjoying it but couldn't.

Hey Myke. just seeing this thread now. looks like a great time. ahhh...dreaming of camping out...now, i got something to get me through the rest of the day.

love the slingshot pics. don't see much of that. that was great. and i really like the handle shape of that phoenix. oh, and btw...looks like you put a pretty keen edge on that hiker. glad your enjoying it.
