well, back from my trip. no hogs, but saw some sign. oh well, maybe next time. did get to use the sfno and the badger though.

sorry for the crappy camera, i forgot mine and bought a cheapy at a truck stop.

Sorry to here you didnt get one. Pork tenderloin and backstraps sound pretty good right now.
 
A several hundred dollar steak knife and a plastic fork.....classic Busse nut.

Bet it was a fun trip anyway!

i was afraid of cutting my ti-fork in half if the infi made contact. :)

plastic forks are cheap!!!

Sorry to hear you didn't bag anything. But getting out there and using is a bonus right? Thanks for the pics, and I can't wait until I can post some new ones myself. Where were you? Wherever it is, it makes me miss Joshua Tree.

we were in los padres in san luis obispo county. my goal was to get away from the city for a couple days, and if we got a pig, just a bonus.

it was great to be out there and not here helicopters, bumping rap music, and generally see nobody except my two friends.

got pretty cold, about 24 the second night, and we even got some slushy snow the first night.

Mark, I can't help notice......The picture qulity is real bad. Were you guys using cell phone to take above pictures?

I too am sorry you did not get one, but take it in stride -- maybe next time. At least you got to get out in the great outdoors and put your knife to some good use!

no, crappy digital camera from a truck stop. i forgot mine. athough they would have been crisper, my photo skills suck anyway. :D

it was!! my friend and i are both knife nuts, though he has yet to experience inif for himself. i almost have him sold on the batac, expecially after he watched me split wood with the sfno.
