Nothing wrong with your camera work there, just your camera that's let you down.Take your own next time and lets have loads more pics !!!

a good camera helps, but my skills are still lacking.

funniest thing about the trip was, when i got home, i didnt want anything to do with tv, computer, anything like that. and its pretty obvious i spend waaaaay too much time here.

i checked my pm's here, but didnt really read anything until this morning. just a couple posts last night.

I get this anxious buildup if I don't get to spend time out in the woods for a while. The lovely wife notices and sweetly suggests: "Isn't it time for you to go camping this weekend??" Good thing I married a backpacking botanist - she understands! ;)

Hogs are pretty damn smart animals and not too easy to hunt. Let slip one fart/cough and they'll vanish into thin air. I wouldn't know how to hunt them if I couldn't use a feeder or a blind by a watering hole.

When I can't take the time to venture into the woods...this is the next best thing. Watching a colleague enjoy himself in the woods.

So you didn't get a hog? Big deal! Just one more reason to go again!!

Someday, you WILL get your hog.

BTW, nice SFNO.

yup, we all said the same thing. i mostly enjoy the time to hang out with friends and be away from the city. getting a boar would be a bonus.

the sfno is fantastic!! it chopped, sliced, and i even tried throwing it at a log. much harder than it appears, i only got it to stick maybe 5 times out of 30 tosses.
