Camping season coming up fast...

Is this the one you're talking about? They list it for $34.99.

My GF wasn't really keen on me spending $150 on a Surefire A2 Aviator.

She wouldn't bat an eye over this one though.

Cool!

Mike, I remember the picture of your belt from last year. You pretty much had all the bases covered...:)

Picked one up in Sidney yesterday.

I'm pretty impressed. I wish I could select which I want -- LED or Xenon more easily.

Right now it's:

Click - LED
Click - off
Click - Xenon
Click - off

So every other time I wind up with the Xenon bulb. I'd actually be happy with this if it were just LED's.

Mike

Just a quick followup. I like the light -- in fact, I was about to order the larger version.

Then I noticed replacement Xenon bulbs are no longer available, and not available for backorder.

Get an Arc AAA. When you're SureFire goes dead you have the LED to change batteries by:) .

www.brightguy.com is taking pre-orders for (I think) the same lights, marketed under the Streamlight brand. It may be worth looking into - they usually carry most of the accessories for the lights they carry. I didn't see the rechargeable version listed, but they did have a version that uses 2 123 size batteries.

Actually, I have one of those. I must have gotten a bad one those -- it's a total POS!

It works when it wants to -- normally not when I want it to. I can twist and turn and twist and turn and nothing will happen.

Then I throw it in my tool box, and the light comes on!

I hate that thing. :barf:

Do you have an URL for that as well? I'm not seeing anything like that.

The Arc AAA is a fantastic flashlight. You got a bad one, but Arc's customer service is also fantastic. I agree with rycen, contact Arc CS and tell them about your problem.

Brightguy is a great place to buy flashlights. They ship quickly & they charge actual shipping fees. I've purchased several lights from them & never been disappointed in the service.
