Finally posting this up, I've just been busy doing my nerdly thing.
Preface: I'm not selling this stuff--this is my first long blade and a personal challenge--just so there's no confusion I'll be just posting a prezi slide show with embedded notes rather than ramble on.
I'm obviously not following a Chokuto era pattern, and give this its own "modern embellishments.
As to embellishments, the blade will have a mokume handguard, resin cast handle with escutcheons, and, for sh!ts and giggles, a rebar companion blade.
