Recommendation? Campus-friendly folder

Not to be negative to any other members, but I got out of school about two years ago so I would guess I have more recent experience than many.

Since my convocation was on Thursday, I have more recent school experience than you. :p
My left front pocket knife for most of my school years was an Emerson Karambit; the right front pocket knife varied by what I felt like that day/week/month.

Our only knife rules at University of Windsor were in regard to if you were living in a dorm.
I never lived in a dorm, so their rules never applied to me.
My most "public" use of a knife at university was probably in the library when I used a Strider SnG to remove a staple for an international student from China. They had a power stapler there, but no staple remover!
The trick is, I didn't "whip it out"; I said, something along the lines of "I can probably get that staple out for you. I have this knife I could pry it out with, if you like," and then held the knife out in my palm with the blade closed.
She said yes, I removed the staple, she was appreciative, and both of us were able to continue doing our academic stuff.

If the school the OP is going to doesn't have some campus-wide anti-knife policy, any normal sized knife legal where he lives should be fine, as long as he doesn't run around being a fool with it.

An orange, purple, or blue Delica shouldn't scare too many. A SAK Classic on your key chain goes without saying.
