Can 2 grinders/motors be hooked up to the same VFD?

Well they did not have them at the local electronics place. I'll order one online.
Any preference between soldered or screw terminals?

Thanks

Ok, got the switch today. Which wires go where?

Hold the switch and flip the toggle handle one way and the other
(the direction of the toggle points to what I call "a side")

The 3 wires from the output of your VFD go in the centre.

3 wires from one motor on one side
3 wires from the other motor on the other side

If the motor rotation is reversed to what you desire, swap the position of 2 wires for that motor.

If you have a multi meter you can check

123
456
789

If 456 is the "middle"
then when you have the switched flipped UP there will be zero resistance between
1&4, 2&5, 3&6

If 456 is the "middle"
then when you have the switched flipped DOWN there will be zero resistance between
4&7, 5&8, 6&9

You may have already started this, but if you have screw terminals, I like to use these.
Crimp a ring on each wire first, then just screw then onto the switch.

That's great. Thanks.
Just a small other thing. What about the grounds?

PS: Sadly I already bought a switch with quick change connectors.

The grounds all go to ground...

Same place your first motor was grounded.

Should be a green screw inside the case for ground.

Quick change connectors are fine, just crimp the proper terminals to the end of your wires...

Thanks Brian. The receptacle I got is too small so next week I'll go buy a deeper one.
Not sure the motor are even grounded, I'll see when I open it up.

Thanks again.
