Can a ten dollar kitchen knife be (very) sharp?

Rada Cutlery makes a good line of kitchen knives & utensils. Decent SS that will take a good edge &
not take forever to get.Prices are very reasonable & they are USA made.
 
I am reading the topic, and I think it's a bit too late, but if you need someone in France to send you Opinel knives, I can do it for you. :)
It can be interesting in a group buy.
In France they are far less expensive! :)
