Can acid washed blade be reversed?

Looking at a used knife that's acid washed and wonder if it can be brought back to satin finish?

Yes it can with some sandpaper. Start around 300 or 400 grit then progress into higher grits until you are happy with the finish.

Make sure you are in good light when doing it. I've acid washed a blade and didn't like how it turned out. When sanding it, it looked to be ok! When I took it outside back into the house I could see what seemed to look like a weird hamon line from the heat treat. Just have to keep sanding.
