Hello Chaps,

I have just aquired this Emerson Custom. It is based on the Mach 1, with a BTS blade. It has purple anosised liners, which are rotary grained on the inside. It has matte stainless bolsters, and oxhorn? scales.

The knife was NIB with papers. I have contacted Emerson who state it is not one of theirs. Any ideas??

Thanks

That would be a dogman special.:D Customized Mach 1 with 416 stainless bolsters (hand rubbed satin finish), buffalo horn scales, and anodized liners. I certainly hope it was presented to you as a customized production knife and not an Emerson custom.

Yes indeedy!!

That seems to describe it down to a tee:)

I have looked at your site, and seen some gorgeous work!!

Can I ask how much it cost to customise the Mach 1? It is a beautiful knife to own, great looking custom tool, and the heft of the bolsters makes it so much easier to use.

I have a Commander that would look even better!!

Can you decorate Sebenza slabs??

I actually traded to get this knife, and no, it wasn't advertised as an Ernie special:)

Thanks again,

Gents this should now be taken to email as it is no longer applicable to the "custom forum" nor its intended scope.

Thanks.
