Can anyone date this MK 3 MOD 0?

I've been cleaning in my basement and I discovered a plastic case with my earliest acquirements from the late 70's and early 80's. Among them this MK 3 MOD 0 which I believe was produced by Ontario. As I mostly collect Scandinavian edged weapons, my knowledge of US knives is sadly lacking. So I hope the experts here might be able to help me date it.
The other side of the blade is marked 2V376
