can anyone do a blade for me?

i am wanting a large dagger blade done from a file. i will supply the file if anyone is interested in doing this for me?it will have to be annealed shaped double edge done and heat treaded. i would want it done with no file teeth left on it. please give me a quote i will supply the template . i want the blade the same style as the gerber mark 1

Or, option 2, you could buy the steel best suited for the job, or just rely on the maker to do his job. Buying the steel really is not going to save you any appreciable amount of money. The big buck come from the amount of time, labour, and belts used in the production. Don't mean to make it sound too harsh...
