Can anyone help me find a Seax?

im looking to buy a seax but dont know of any dealers that make what im looking for. Himilyan imports makes something similar but i dont know about their reliability. i think im just looking for a knife, no short swords or anything like that. if anyone can help i would really appreciate it.
 
Himilyan Imports are a great company. Great knives, and great warranty. If you like their designs, and steel choice, you really don't have to worry about their reliability. They are made "low tech" but they stand behind their products. Cruise the HI sub forum. They are rabbid in their support and love of HI products (in a good way).

I have never owned one, but I have spent enough time on that subforum to hear all the great praise.
 
Bark River makes an EDC Seax that's pretty nice looking.

I know not everyone has the time, resources, or inclination, but an authentic style seax would be pretty darn low tech to make yourself. (if you're wantin' a smaller one, that is) Or for that matter, perhaps not terribly expensive to have one of the makers around here make one up for you.

Outside of that, the only ones I know of are Paul Chen/ Cas Iberia and Windlass.
 
+1 for HI. Keep an eye on the Deal of the day; sooner or later (sooner) one will show up. If it doesn't work for you, someone here will relieve you of it (in the "for sale" forum) in very short order, I'm sure.

well HI does hav 1 for sale but it has a black handle and i was looking for just a standard wood handle but i guess im just being a bit picky. thx guys
