Can anyone help me find an Ohta Friction Folder?

Hello all! A while back I asked about makers whom could make me a friction folder. I got a few nibbles, but nothing that really seemed to fit my style. THEN I saw an Ohta friction folder which was gotten by our own Mr. Gary Graley, and I think I've found the one! However, I haven't been able to find much information on them, and am wondering how to go about finding one! Please, if anyone knows, let me know how to go about it! Thanks, all!

Sincerely,
Anthony

If you check the Gallery forum you may find that the Otha folder you are talking about is actually a liner lock. It looks like a friction folder, but in actuality is not. You should check with otha, he is a member of these forums.

E-mail sent on an available Ohta.

Keith, you're confusing Hiro Ohta with the other Otha. Hiro is one of Japan's finer makers of Sheffield reproductions and Loveless/Randall
miniatures. The knife Anthony saw is G2's, and he uses it everyday.
Several purveyors had knives by Hiro on their tables at the ECCKS.

The friction folders have 2 1/2" blades of either VG10/San Mai, ATS34 or Damascus. Various handle finishes.

By the way, Bob Loveless has an Ohta in his collection.Stag Big Bear, of course.;)

Sorry, forget I said anything.

Somebody mention Graley or Ohta? ;)

Here she be sir, highly recommend this type of friction folder, and also I would HIGHLY recommend the other person whos name is similar but different or own Otha on the forums as he makes dynamite knives as well!!!
Below is a recent scan of my knife, blade is a San Mai Damascus with Desert Ironwood handle, the swinger style sheath comes with the knife and works well.
