this weekend i got a schrade walden knife, it has the jigged handles with the silver shield on it. the shield is blank, unlike some i have seen with schrade stamped into them. the blade says schrade walden, ny usa. the # on the back of the blade is 33 or 233, cant tell because of the wear. it has 2 blades on this knife. can anyone give me a estimate of how old this one is? i think maybe its close to a middleman jack? i know, a pic would make life easier, but i am at work and cant provide one. any help would be appreciated! thanks guys!

Sounds like a 233 to me...

The tang stamp puts it between 1948 and 1973.

thanks! thats exactly what i needed to know! i traded a knife just like it for this one but the one i traded had schrade stamped on the shield, but this one doesnt. the other just had schrade on it, and this one has schrade walden. i just wanted a older one.
