Can anyone help?

Im expecting it to be an absolute B**** to sharpen (seeing as it's specially hardened and treated tool steel), but i also expect it to hold one hell of an edge for a long time. I may also need to learn some cleaning strategies (seeing as i dont think its's stainless). It's gonna be pretty heavy in terms of usually weight for a knife, so i dont think it'll do much fine work. I think it'll make a good all around camp knife, and if need be, a survival knife.

Damn i hope this works!

When you run the file across it does it bite or does it skate easily without moving much metal? My crowbars are about as hard as U-channel sign posts, which is to say not very hard at all. Hit the edge of the wonderbar with the file (not too hard), does it ding easily?

Geometry cuts. Putting a proper primary grind on it will take a loooong time without annealing it.

It is likely a High Carbon steel and will rust. Spray on some rustoleum.

The home depot and target on Hesperian blvd have everything you need in order to avoid spending your entire summer vacation on your first knife.
