Can anyone i.d. this wood

I have had this wood laying around for a couple years and would like to get it used but don't know the species

Looks a little like Buckeye to me, but I'm no expert.

The sticker looks like it reads molav9-s

Give it a sanding to 400 and wet the wood with water. Then take a photo.

Not clear enough at the moment, but I'll say "Thuya burl" for now.

In case you aren't joshing us....it is Molava wood. A south-east Asian and south Pacific wood.
