Can Anyone Identify This Knife?

Wish I could help. Nice knife! At first glance I thought the tip was broken. Only stuck in tree. DUH...

For my part, I'll guess Czech, because it reminds me of something from Rossarms.

I'm also curious to know what the dark line in the middle of the blade is? :confused:

It looks like a bevel, except that it goes into the ricasso, which makes me think it's a temper line. Or a trick of the light, somehow....
 
I like it as well. The "line" may be an artist's rendition of light playing off the blade as the pic looks like it might be a print from a book. If so, the book title/author might give a clue as to origin.
