Can anyone please help me with this Busse question.

I picked this Busse up at a swap meet over the weekend, on one side of the blade it is engraved with the letters PIETRI...never seen this before on a Busse, anyone know what this is all about and what model this may be, the blade thickness is .32....

Probably a Hogfsh... I have no clue about that lettering however.

Thats weird 1st time i ever saw anything like that; its possible that the former owner engraved his last name into it if you got this knife used.

I was thinking the same, previous owner may have had that engraved...found out this is a LE Fusion Steel Heart Fat version.

You should do with that name on the blade what my brother in law does when he gets a check engine or ABS light on in his car; put a piece of electric tape over it

That was the HOG Edition ASH 1. That was a different model with a coated blade, and the engraving was different. As you can see here.

A few years back it was "Strongly Recommended" by the military that soldiers put their names on personal items. Eliminated questions of ownership. Not saying that is what this is. I don't remember every name that we ever put on a knife. That would be a possibility though.
