Can anyone tell me about US Gladius knives?

To give you a quick overview....

Pros (without using it)
It looks cool!
It is beefy. Not BK2 beefy, but it has enough heaft to it.
Micarta handle scales are nice.
It came pretty sharp. Barely shaves.
I love the hollow grind
Lines/grinds are even
Quality "free" t-shirt
A lot of knife for the price

Cons (without using it)
The sheath. It works, but slot is super thin. Might be difficult to store without looking.
The handle is tiny. If it were 1/2" more length it would be perfect!

I will take this on my next hike and try it out.

More pics to follow.

About 3 1/4

It would be a whole lot better if they opened this area up. Sheathing the knife in a hurry might be difficult.

Also,
The serrations are covered in the black coating. They are not as sharp as they should be. That will change soon!! (Gladius is the bottom knife)

These would be so much cooler without the serrations. They would be like the name says, a USA made gladius.

Would I buy it again...... I think I would. If you use the promo code Glad52 you get like 30% off!! That makes it a much better deal to me. Plus you get a nice, quality t_shirt for free!!

That grip is pretty short, but at least you don't have a true fat guard and pommel on this one that could squeeze your hand uncomfortable between them.
