Apprentice... I don't believe so... 1095 (I stand corrected. 5160 steel) steel maybe??? A true HOG will be along in a minute to correct me, I'm sure! It's pretty cool looking.

Probably not. I haven't seen any apprentice blades that are INFI. I think Jerry only lets the apprentices work on less expensive steel!

The ricasso looks clean, but the butt looks like there's some dimples.
Carbon steel should either be A-2 or 5160 if it isn't INFI.

You can try the bluing test. Get it super clean with dish soap or degreaser, then touch a spot with bluing acid. If it turns color it's not infi.
