Can anyone verify this knife is authentic?

Unfortunately the cool mean street ergo i had tried to pick up was never delivered as the guy is "on vacation" for a month. Seemed like a scam to me as he immediately reposted it to do the same thing to another customer.
 
I had figured it might be real. I pored over every detail for hours. But I'm no busse expert and there is a 5 page thread on why I shouldn't do business with Dan

I've dealt with Dan a few times and have never had any problems. Others have had problems in the past, I guess, but I haven't. YMMV..

I was hoping maybe he had moved on past it. And that it remains a thing of the past. I may have been a bit rude to him? I apologized once I received the knife with tip intact. I'm tempted to try and rescue more busse from him, but will refrain for now. Haha.
 
Looks like a legit Battle Grade Active Duty to me!
Battle Grade is SR-101 steel vs Combat Grade which is INFI. So if he’s advertising and selling a Battle Grade AD, it looks fine!

I was under no illusions of it being INFI. Purely after sr101 right now after discontinuation anyway. Thanks man!
 
I will state he says he is currently friends with bladeforums moderators and that he talks with them daily on his Facebook group or something. Not sure how much truth there is behind this, but seemed odd to me.

He has a FB group page, and is also in another FB group that I am part of. He posts every day.

Yes that is Legit.
Facebook is a perfect place for him. lol
 
I have no intention of reselling my knives, they will go into my coffin with me, I hope. But i'm not able to purchase blades like this very often, just wanted to make sure everything was above-board. Thank you so much you guys. I really appreciate you. This hobby and forum has helped me through a really rough spot in my life, I am eternally grateful for it, and you guys. God bless. <3
 
I have had a good experience with Dan. He even had multiples of the blade I was looking for and sent me higher resolution photos for me to choose from.

He is particular in his communication, payment, etc. but my items were received as advertised.

I cannot find anything "sour" about him past 2016-ish. Perhaps I was a bit too quick to judge. However - I know if somebody is banned from here, it's typically for a good reason. Better safe than sorry, no? I appreciate you, Tex. Should he give me the opportunity, I will continue to buy blades from him. If he recommends F&F im out, though.

I think you can do PPG&S or PPF&F but the knife prices goes up to cover the additional cost for the Goods and Services.
