Can Buck Repair A Bent Blade?

I have only done this on lesser blades, but I think you might be more successful laying it on a anvil, or vice, side of a sledge hammer, table saw, concrete slab, and hit it with a hammer, vs prying against it.

After closer examination I detected a slight hump on the right hand side. I'll work on this. Still, it is close. DM

If it is, it is very slight on the left side and I don't think it will affect performance. I worked on this last night so long I became tired of it. A project like this is not for just a collector.
Thanks gents for the directives. DM

A good effort David, nothing ventured nothing gained. I would be more than happy with this.:thumbsup:

Um, the other blade looks like it it is rubbing a little :p

David, you're making me more nervous with each post. Verschlimmbesserung is the word that Germans use to describe that time when you had something almost perfect and then ruined it with the final stroke.

Reit, I like it. A little humor helps with this project.
Buck Shack, thanks. Yes, the other blade needs some straightening too. I'll give it a go as time allows. DM
