Can H/T foil be reused?

Wondering if H/T foil can be reused. Thought I would ask before I ruin a blade.

IMHO, it is not worth the risk, a $1.00 piece of foil for a blade you have spent X number of hours on and $25 worth of steel and sanding belts on. I thought about it when I used to use it but luckily I found the pinholes before I reused it.
