• Happy Thanksgiving to all of you! I hope that you all have something to be grateful for this year and for many years to come
  • America has reached 250 years, and I am grateful to be here, in the best country in the world. Thank every one of you who helps make this country a better place, those who have gone before and risked it all, and those who've paid the ultimate price to make the United States what we are today.

Happy Birthday America! Let Freedom Ring for all time!

Is there a way to acknowledge this and make it go away?
Every time I go to a new page and then go to click a link - this pops up, shifts the page down, and I click the wrong link.

Are you on mobile? What browser? Android, ios, windows, Mac?
I use Chrome and Firefox. I will check with IE right now: There is still a pause before it loads, giving me time to ALMOST click on the right subforums.
It would seem like it would stop appearing once I have read the rules, but no matter how many times I click to read them, it still never goes away. I assume it is not meant to go away but would be nice if it would.

Do you run any plug-ins in those two browsers?

I dunno. I think the rules should stay then there is no excuse for breaking the rules. Tho maybe it can be presented in a different way that loads with the forum rather than the way it currently does.

There is no way to remove that announcement, but honestly it's not even that intrusive; most times I don't even notice it's there.
