Can I add g10 grips to a Buck/Strider 882BKS-B?

I have a Buck/Strider 882 coming soon. This model has Buck marked plastic grips that are secured with rivits I believe. Is there any way to replace the grips with G10 handles that are screwed on?

seems like a lot of work,why dont you just buy the g-10 buck strider,they are still out there..............

I have both the G10 and FRN versions and really cant tell the difference.

If you grind off the heads of the rivets you can remove the FRN slabs and replace them with G10. You should be able to get some threaded whatchamacallits and deeleybobers.

I really liked the thick FRN on my Buck Strider knives, and I don't think that it would be worth the effort to replace them. I would probably find one that had G10 already.
