How much better is th gb wildlife hatchet that a fiskars 14 inch hatchet. Im looking for a hatchet/axe that will fit in a back pack for trail clearing.
 
I don't own the wildlife, but I just got to play with the mini. The mini really held its own very well against the Fiskars, so I'd have to assume the wildlife would be a sure thing. :thumbup:
 
I own both and have used them extensively side-by-side, with very minor work done to the edge of the Fiskars the Wildlife presents no advantage over the Fiskars. The Fiskars also allows me to beat on the handle relentlessly, and the back of the head can be used as a hammer without worrying about deforming the eye.

Occasionally I have carried the Wildlife for nostalgic purposes, but the Fiskars is my go-to.

the granfors look so cool i have already convexed my 14 inch fiskars.
