Can I block a user from sending me messages?

I've got a troll that is p.m.ing me with obnoxious nonsense. Is there a way to block him from sending private messages? I poked around in the message center, and found the Rules tab, but that doesn't seem to be what I need.

Would simply putting that guy on my Ignore list prevent him from sending me p.m.s?

Any advice?
 
Putting him on ignore should work. You could also just delete the messages, unread...
But, as Chip said, report the message & let the mods deal with it.
