All the best,
BladeForums.com
I believe my first post was on 11/8. AGAIN I QUOTE THE FORUM RULES. Maybe you should read them. "New posts listing price changes, new photographs or information, or additional items for sale, answering buyer questions, or listing the item as sold are allowed and do not apply to the "1 Bump every 72 hours" rule."
My post on 11/11 was a response to a question and as the rule states DOES NOT APPLY TO TH 72 HOUR BUMP RULE.

All the best,
BladeForums.com
Instead of taking responsibility for your mistake you will probably ban me for my last pm. Typical mod behavior. That's fine with me. I know the rule. You lock my thread so I can't respond and you save face. Bladeforums will never receive support from me again. What a waste. Looks like you need some moderators who know and abide by the forum rules. I'm better a person not to cuss at you, but I will stand for truth and right. These are my last words here and I can rest at ease knowing that I did not lower myself to your level of hypocrisy.

there would have been a better way to handle this than picking a fight with a mod.

exact same thing happened to me a while back. i believed i was in the right, so pm'd spark with a link to the thread.

my infraction was reversed, end of story.

glockman does his best, and has many threads he is "responsible" for. sometimes he makes a mistake, sometimes he stands by his decision. the best course of action is to take it up with spark.

Also there is favoritism when it comes to "SOME" folks admitting they are selling for a "friend" and when someone else does it....their thread is lock and perhaps an infraction issued.

I am completely for upholding and regulating the law, but make it equal for all.

Morablades was WELL within his rights to "bump" his thread as the previous correspondence was not actual bumping, but answering which is legal. I too have been hit on this "infraction" and find it a bit ambiguous to use ....only when you "want" to and not enforce it to ALL who use it. Equal treatment for everyone.

mora blades was absolutely in the right, but i dont agree with his course of action.

I reached out to glockman before.....only to get shut down.....if you are going to enforce the rules...you should KNOW the rules!

I can't blame morablades for acting the way he did...he was wronged and knows it, he could have calmed down and sent in the appropriate message to Spark, but it should have never come to that because he did NOTHING wrong.

Heat of the moment and his temper flared....

I agree that 99% of this can and should be resolved behind closed doors..no need for plastering everything out until ABSOLUTELY time to do so.

Here is mine...I was answering a question...10 pt infraction issued
http://www.bladeforums.com/forums/showthread.php?p=5762211#post5762211

Also..I have seen infractions for a "few" folks for selling for friends......while others get away with it.

Why should we have to keep bothering the head man about something that SHOULDN'T be happening in the first place?

Things should be resolved at the lowest level possible.

of course, ideally.

but when that doesn't work, what does it prove to quit bfc?

he solved nothing by sending those pm's to glockman.

bad behavior does not justify further bad behavior.

Gravelface, why distract from the OP's problem with your own narrative? You should handle separate problems separately, not piggy-back on his. All you're contributing is heat, not light.

joe-bob, no surprise, all you're contributing is an insult to the mod staff generally.

A apologize if I went over my boundaries with this...I too get a bit heated when I see SO many of the same issues regarding the same person. I was merely trying to point out "other" incidents of similar nature....not piggyback my own on MB's thread.

Never good to post when heated. Type it out, read it out, throw it out if you might not want to see it online the next day. :)

It was a valid infraction as I interpret the rule. The 72 hour rule starts on your last post, no matter what the reason. Your bump that received an infraction was not 72 hours after your last post, which was 50 hours prior. Had your bump been a price change or such, it would have been exempt.

I think Dann does his best. If you have a problem with him, take it to PM or email, and be respectful. These kinds of things can be worked out. If you don't get anywhere with Dann, take it up with Spark. Don't throw a temper tantrum.

mod sass has never worked in these situations.

the exchange has to be one of the hardest places to moderate and Dann has admitted he made mistakes in the past. give Spark a chance to review things first instead of taking the ban path.

Well, from what you showed in your OP you did break the rules. As simple as it seems, he was well within his right to get you for it. The 72 hour bump means from the last time you posted in your sell/trade thread. Think of a price drop as a "free bump." That's why so many people have price drops in the selling area, it's a free bump to the top and gets a lot of attention without violating the 72 hour rule. What you did was answered the question, which is perfectly fine and gave you a "free bump," but then when you stuck out that road flare with a "bump......" you were no longer 72 hours from your next post.
