I had sent my Hubertus Guardian in to Josh for a repair almost a year ago now and Josh refused to respond to my last emails.

I contacted the BBB, upon warning him of this action if he still refused to respond,.. still to no avail.... He still is in possession of my knife and refuses to return it to me.

Are you out there Josh? Care to elaborate?

I can provide addition info if there are any questions.

Care to make it right Josh????
 
Yet another negative situation regrading this guy.

People need to learn to avoid this guy like the plague.

At some point it ceased to be a civil matter and turned into a criminal matter; i.e. theft. Contact the police department in the city where he does business and file a police report. That may get his attention.
 
When you start a thread here, it really helps to provide accurate information from the beginning. If you inclusde the who, how, when, where, and why, people are more likely to empathise and on occassion volunteer to try and help a fellow forum goer. When a thread gives the appearance of an empty rant, it usually gets moved to Whine and Cheese with no serious consideration. Just a suggestion.
 
Btw, the BBB has no enforcement powers, especially on a non licensed, insured or tax-paying person doing business under the table.

Try the local police. They're probably too swamped to care, but if they get enough complaints, they may eventually decide to investigate and submit a file to the local DA for prosecution. Unfortunately, the per person $ loss is probably too low for them to pay much attention.
