I am planning a trip to teh USA, and i was wondering if any of you ppl know if its legal to carry this little but powerful folder.

Btw, I know a lot about knives ?(Hey, i collect, carry and use them) but when i found this place i realized that in fact i didnt know anything at all... so bare with my posts and enlight me! :-)

Yes. Being a New Yorker myself, the limits are: no assisted knives of any king (e.g., switchblades, gravity knives, ballistic knives, etc.) and when you're in NYC, the blade must be less than 4".

For the complete set of laws, check out:

My research incicates that a folder of that size is fine in NYC. Good choice, by the way!

Yes, it's been my every day carry knife for over a year, I've even taken it into the Court House, and through other Security checks, never had a problem.

Tracer-san, welcome to the Forums and welcome to New York. If you can though, wait a few weeks before coming we've beeb n having some very cold weather lately, 30 below Wind Chill yesterday, it felt like Fargo ND!
