can I post?

You can post without being a paid member, and you can post pictures that are hosted elsewhere, but you can't download your pictures directly to this site or post in the knives for sale board without being a paying member.
 
OK, but it is normal to not be able to see certain images?
Some image are visible but when I click on a "attached image" (links
like on this page: http://www.bladeforums.com/forums/showthread.php?t=312126)
I receive the message:

you do not have permission to access this page. This could be due to one of several reasons:

1. Your user account may not have sufficient privileges to access this page. Are you trying to edit someone else's post, access administrative features or some other privileged system?
2. If you are trying to post, the administrator may have disabled your account, or it may be awaiting activation.


Anyone have the same problem ?

Check to make sure your security settings aren't too high. You probably have cookies disabled. Try clearing them out, logging in again and see what happens.
 
Hmm, I've been getting that just lately too, and it seems to be a new thing. I haven't changed any of my settings, so I don't think that's it.
 
I'm having that problem, too. Cookies are enabled on my machine; the proof (other than my settings) is that I'm still logged in every time I come back. Yet I don't seem to have permission to view attachments in other people's messages.

This began 2 or 3 days ago. Moderators? A little help?
 
I'm having / had the same issue. I just figured it was a pay to play type thing, thanks for the post to the Link explaining that. Lets hope that it is changed in the future.
