Can i trade knife for item + money?

I'm looking to trade a knife and for either a leatherman or a sharpmaker but my knife costs more than either one. Would it be against the rules to trade my knife for one of those items and money?

As far as I recall you cannot post any trade values or seek offers of cash to make up the difference of the trade. The Trade Forum is exactly that...trading only. You can sell your items on BFC for your asking price if you upgrade to a Gold Membership.
