Can I turn a low saber grind into a full flat grind?

hey guys. I am trying to buy a somewhat hard to find knife, and my question is about the grind. right now it has a low saber grind, but I was wondering if it was possible to have someone put either a higher saber grind or even full flat grind on it? would this work? or would it actually make the knife thinner than if it was ground like that from the start? I wouldn't want to make the blade any thinner, but this specific knife came in low saber grind, high, and full flat grind versions. Hope i am explaining this right. This is the one with the low saber, but I would really love to have the full flat or high saber, so i am hoping I could do it without changing the blade too much. thanks for the patience.

Dave, if I'm understanding you right, you should be able to make the grind go higher, all the way up to full flat if you want, without changing the edge thickness much if any at all.

Most makers when grinding a full flat grind have a saber grind going any way. They just keep grinding until they get a full flat grind. A saber grind is just a natural spot in the progression to a flat grind.

So yes, if that's what you meant, it can be done quite easily.
