Formula 3 gun conditioner has been my go to for 20 years. I got a little packet of Lucas gun oil with my Colt Python but never tried it.Just buy a good quality gun lubricant at any sporting goods store or Walmart.
I don't know the lube you are talking about, but if it gets gummy after use, then it's a no-no.
I use it mostly because it's non-toxic Shane. It's a laxative you can buy it in the drugstore. It can get sticky that's why I use it. But I don't know about no axis lock. It keeps my knives rust free in a very humid environment. I also use it on my guns. Just a light wiping down. No rust in the jungle no lessJust buy a good quality gun lubricant at any sporting goods store or Walmart.

Yes they are two very different things No Doubt. But you can cut up an apple and eat it and not get poisoned.Sticky on the blade, and sticky in the axis lock mechanism are two different things.
I can live with the first one, but the second one - not so much.![]()

Maybe his knife is constipatedOut of curiosity, why do you want to lube the Axis lock?
I've owned a fair number of BM knives and none of them have ever needed lube in that area.

It’s just a mineral oil, it’s labeled for bikes but it’s just a regular mineral oilJust buy a good quality gun lubricant at any sporting goods store or Walmart.

I have some lubricant coming in the Mail, I didn’t even use a drop just put a little dab on a qtip and it workedThen you SHOULD be ok.
However, some lubes have harsh solvents in them which I would not use anywhere near a knife.
I'd still stick with a good tried and tested gun lube
