Can Joe or someone from Buck please explain something?

That makes no sense though. If people cant buy something off the Buck website, they'll just go get it somewhere else for less. I think its more of an issue with whoever keeps the website updated.

Buck makes money no matter where people buy the product.

Buck already has the money in their pockets when people are buying from retailers instead of the website.

Sold product is better than unsold.

The key thing is keeping product in short supply so people are eager to get hold of the latest product.

All you have to do is read here on this forum to see that it's working.

A lean, mean profit machine keeps a minimum number of workers on overtime trying to keep up with demand.

The companies that produced surplus product have already gone out of business.

Of course, it's essential that the company have a quality product, which Buck does.

BG you are giving us a little too much credit. Finished goods inventories are a victim of an economy that is driving us and our suppliers to hesitate to hire folks or lay in additional inventories. when that happens there is very little "reaction" we can make to a product doing well. I am happy to report that many products exceeded initial forecast last year. At the same time we do take our customer service seriously and realize that desire can turn to irritation really quickly so we are focused on shipping ontime and instock.

CJ, I'd like to thank you for taking the time (especially with what else you have on your mind) to answer these posts and put to rest these conspiracy theories and speculations about Buck's motives.

Too much credit???

I never do that.

:D

I did notice that a couple things showed up on the website today that had been out of stock, so that's a good sign.

Glad to see that.
